For a growing number of Australians, training isn't something they stop when they go on holiday. It's part of who they are. They pack their runners, look up the nearest gym before they book, and feel out of sorts after a week without a workout.

Ten years ago, training mostly meant a gym membership. Now it's just as likely to mean a bootcamp at the beach, a run club in the park or a calisthenics session on an outdoor rig. Training outside has become normal, and guests notice when it's missing.

Group bookings can fill a park on a quiet weekend. Sporting teams heading to carnivals and tournaments, corporate groups on retreats, and fitness and wellness groups all need somewhere to stay, and more of them want somewhere to train while they're there.
